The client
Utility Warehouse is an award-winning, FTSE 250, business multi-service provider based in London, England. It currently handles over 814,000 customer accounts.
The task
In the dynamic realm of utility rebranding, I had the extraordinary opportunity to spearhead an illustration project that has breathed new life into UW's visual identity.
The illustrations have been created to bring to life different aspects of the business, as well as contextualise how customers, distributors and staff engage with UW, whether thats using its products or simply getting on in life.
The result is a comprehensive collection of over 100 illustrations, parts of an ever-growing library that is now seamlessly integrated into all brand deliverables.
From brochures and billboards to websites and mobile applications, the illustrations bring consistency, vibrancy, and a touch of friendliness to every customer touchpoint.
Daily life
UW illustrations capture customers going about their daily lives.
From cooking in their kitchens to working in home offices, these visuals depict the seamless integration of UW services. With a touch of authenticity and relatability, they showcase the role UW plays in empowering customers to enjoy uninterrupted, productive, and comfortable routines.
From helpful customer representatives to skilled technicians, the illustrations capture, with friendly and approachable depictions, the expertise and professionalism that define UW. These visuals reflect the company commitment to customer experiences and highlight the value they place on building strong relationships with their customers.
Staff and customer support
UW illustrations celebrate diversity and representation. With a wide range of characters from various backgrounds, abilities, and cultures, they ensure everyone feels seen and valued.
Inclusivity
UW object illustrations are simple everyday objects. These illustrations can be used as stand alone elements to communicate simple ideas and information, and can also be used to build multiple object compositions and be added to people illustrations to create different settings and narratives.
